The passing of years, government movements, and the changing of ideas as the world grows older literary masterpieces still strive on. Literary masterpieces come in all forms; semantics, poetry (literary form), Short stories, and literature (Translations). Although Contemporary Literature possesses certai n qualities, that gives the reader an understanding of the author and his written work. Of course so much of what is written during this period takes took notice and lead from the periods which came before; as in the Ancient period with â€Å"Genesis:† which is a mythical story of how the earth was created â€Å"Ancient writers looked to the past to understand their future† (Damrosch, 2008, p.1). The Genesis story has lasted through the test of time. Each period that came after on served to add something new to what has already existed from the periods before. So much was written during various periods in literature that stemmed from a belief in a higher power, such as â€Å"Confessions† by Augustine where character has a strong belief in God; so much that he confesses to God of the things he feels needs to be forgiven for. You are there to OBSERVE, so do not attempt to interview members of the fellowship. Attend the meeting and experience what the members offer through sharing.
